On October 27, 2023, a new Saw movie from Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures will be released in theatres.

A 2021 American horror film titled From the Book of Saw, also known as Spiral or Spiral: Saw, was written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger and directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. It is the ninth film in the Saw series and a stand-alone sequel.
The movie, which also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella, Marisol Nichols, and Chris Rock, centres on police efforts to catch a Jigsaw imitator. In addition to Rock and series veteran Kevin Greutert, the series’ original creators James Wan and Leigh Whannell also serve as executive producers.
Another Saw Movie?
The most recent film, which will increase the total number of films in the franchise to 10, will be directed by Kevin Greutert, who also edited the first five Saw films and Jigsaw and directed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter. Spiral, the Saw revival starring Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson, was the most recent to be released. It debuted during the pandemic and earned $41M globally.
