Although TikTok may be the social networking app with the quickest growth, none other than MrBeast believes that another well-known site may eventually surpass it. On a recent episode of the Full Send Podcast, the famous YouTuber talked about the subject and opened up about a variety of other subjects.

And MrBeast had some opinions when host Kyle Forgeard turned to talk about TikTok, especially after he brought up the fact that “some say it’s going to overpass YouTube.”  “I thought the same but YouTube Shorts, they’ve really taken some huge strides,” he said.

Seeing Ahead

The short-form version of the video-sharing website was introduced in 2020 as a response to the famous TikTok format, and it has been rapidly gaining popularity ever since. Although many people still prefer TikTok, MrBeast believes YouTube Shorts may eventually overtake it because of one crucial element: money.

YouTube said earlier this month that Shorts makers are now eligible for its Partner Program, which enables users to make money from advertisements just like they can with long-form videos.
