Chris Hemsworth has provided an update on his next film, in which he will play wrestling legend Hulk Hogan. Hemsworth is now juggling the premiere of his Netflix feature Spiderhead with the release of his new Marvel film, Thor: Love and Thunder, but he assures fans that his Hogan film will not be forgotten.

The film was first confirmed in 2019, with Hemsworth acting as American professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, who came to popularity after signing with what is now WWE in 1983 and wrestling with the company.

Hemsworth previously hailed the project as “really fun,” and told an interview that the training will be ‘insanely physical.’ Hemsworth is no stranger to working out for a role, having previously played the God of Thunder, but he claims that this project will demand him to do so much more.

Despite his enthusiasm, Hemsworth noted in a recent update that there is still a long way to go until we see him in the character of Hogan. Despite the fact that filming has yet to begin, co-writer John Pollono has stated that he “can’t wait to see it someday.”
