After hearing Chris Evans’ genuine accent come out in an interview, the internet went insane. Since the Captain American star is from Boston, he naturally speaks with a distinct Boston accent when he’s not in character and that still caught a lot of us off guard.
A Little Bit of A Surprise
Evans used his natural accent during a recent red carpet interview, and Twitter users were caught off guard. Evans is chatting to an Access Hollywood reporter in the video below, and his accent is clearly audible.
Preparing for the Role
He recently dropped the accent to play Buzz Lightyear in the upcoming film Lightyear. The film Lightyear tells the story of the character who inspired the Toy Story franchise’s Buzz Lightyear toy.
