All three of the first series’ episodes, which debuted on Netflix in 2019, have received positive reviews and have done well financially. The Umbrella Academy has been renewed for a fourth series, but it will be the final one, so fans should prepare for conflicting feelings.

The superhero series will recast the roles of its stars Elliot Page, Aidan Gallagher, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, David Castaeda, Justin H. Min, Robert Sheehan, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore, among others.

Steve Blackman, the showrunner, said: “I’m so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy will be able to experience the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey we began five years ago. But before we get to that conclusion, we’ve got an amazing story ahead for season four, one that will have fans on the edge of their seats until the final minutes.”
