Viewers Perplexed By “Doesn’t Make Sense” Winning Pool Shot

Published

on

If you enjoy playing pool and have experienced losing on the black, the video below will demonstrate a method for getting the ball in from the sharpest of angles, assuming you can figure out how the individual in the video achieves it.

In all honesty, it might take a few viewings before you have a theory.

As you can see, the game, which was played at a pub, or anywhere else for that matter, came down to the very last ball, and one of the players tried to be clever by playing a safety shot.

Without delving too far into pool game protocol for safety shots, it appears like the first player has at least managed to hold his opponent at bay for one more shot.

The second player steps up, aims at an angle across the ball, and manages to send the cue ball skittering across the table while the black ball rolls backwards into the pocket, seemingly adding more screw to the ball by striking it down.

Although it doesn’t appear to be conceivable, the video is accurate.

The video was first posted a few weeks ago by @luke23collins, a TikTok member. This doesn’t make sense, he properly notes in his narration of the brief footage.

How does the guy get the f***ing black ball in from here, he continues.

You either have an excessively curious mind or a physics degree if you can figure it out.

Naturally, opinions have been spoken.

Many people think that the black ball is essentially dragged in by the end of the cue as it follows through and catches it.

In that situation, it would be a foul and the frame would be forfeited.

Others, though, think that there is some significant talent and expertise on display here.

One said: “He puts spin on the right side of the black anti-clockwise which causes the Magnus effect to carry it into the pocket.

“Very hard shot, fair play.”

Without going into too much detail, the Magnus effect is a phenomena that happens when things are spinning. It is frequently seen when football players successfully curl a free-kick or when baseball pitchers throw a curveball.

In this instance, the commentator believes it causes the black to advance in the direction of the pocket.

Someone said, “He creates backspin with the white and it’s [the black] against the side so it creates more backspin.”

As a third added: “Not impossible, just very difficult.”

No matter what happened, it’s totally amazing.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Releases Its First Trailer

Published

on

The last time we saw Star-Lord and his rag tag bunch of extraterrestrial friends in a stand-alone movie was five years ago. The public has now been given a trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

A Bit of a Surprise

Although they’ve been in multiple Avengers movies, Chris Pratt’s character hasn’t had a solo adventure in a very long time. However, they’re back and they look better than ever. The third installment of the fantastic Marvel franchise has not yet given a concrete on what’s to come, but hopefully the trailer would give us an idea on what’s going on.

Keeping the Standard

We appear to be in for a picture that jumps between planets and is full of action, drama, and astonishing emotion. In one scene, Rocket is seen as a young racoon, and there may also be the beginnings of a possible love affair between Rocket and an otter. As the Guardians move through space, the visuals are stunning, nothing less of what we’ve been expecting from the franchise.

Make sure you check out the trailer right here!

The Internet Goes Wild After Will Smith’s Latest Movie Gets Boycotted by Critics

Published

on

Due to the ongoing repercussions from Will Smith’s slap on Chris Rock at the Academy Awards earlier in the year, fans have had a mixed reaction to the historical action movie Emancipation, which was directed by Antoine Fuqua and stars Smith.

The Plot of the Movie

Gordon, also known as “Whipped Peter,” was a Black American slave who managed to escape the Louisiana plantation where he was kept captive in the book Emancipation. In order to avoid hunters and bloodhounds, he traveled more than 60 kilometers in ten days before arriving at a post of Union soldiers in the early 1863.

The Consequences

Even though Smith has said he understands if people don’t want to watch Emancipation, a sizable portion of folks who would not view this movie because of its relationship with Smith are puzzling fans of the actor.

Emancipation debuts in American theaters on December 2 and becomes available on Apple TV on December 9. Hopefully people would still support the film, and see the film for what it can truly be.

Fans Already have the Ideal Substitute for Liam Hemsworth in The Witcher

The mess that was The Witcher on Netflix just won’t go away. If you didn’t hear, Henry Cavill has left the series, and I truly hope I’m not the one to tell you.

The Witcher Debate Just Won’t Go Away

In the next third season, Cavill will play Geralt of Rivea, but this will be his last appearance. The position will then be filled by Liam Hemsworth in season four.

Cavill didn’t really give a reason for leaving, but it’s quite obvious now. Cavill, who has fought for the veracity of Andrzej Sapkowski’s original novels, is quite disappointed that The Witcher is departing from them.

Some producers reportedly even made fun of the novels. In light of this, viewers started a petition requesting that Netflix fire the show’s writers and rehire Cavill. Liam Hemsworth is not at fault for any of this mess, but the actor hasn’t exactly received a warm welcome to the franchise.

We Got This Covered reports that 3D artist Wonki Cho has won the hearts of fans with a collection of concept work that casts actor Mads Mikkelsen in the part.

As Geralt, I must confess that Mikkelsen does look pretty cool, and let’s face it—everything that man touches turns to gold. Similar views were expressed by fans on Twitter. No offense to Liam Hemsworth for playing The Witcher, but Mads Mikkelsen is a perfectly capable actor over here, according to Grunchpop.

Fans aren’t the only ones affected by Cavill’s departure; Revnardent added, “Petition for Mads Mikkelsen to be the next Witcher.” We share Doug Cockle’s sentiments, who play Geralt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and expressed his sadness at Cavill’s departure.
