Anonymous has promised to keep hacking Russia until it stops its ‘aggression’ against Ukraine. In retribution for Vladimir Putin’s invasion, the hacker group has launched a series of computer strikes on the country.
No Signs of Stopping
Anonymous has stated that it will not cease its activities until Russia does. “The hacking will continue until Russia stops their aggression,” the organization tweeted on April 11th.
Their Course of Action
Personal data of 120,000 Russian servicemen fighting in Ukraine was released earlier this month, revealing personal information such as names, dates of birth, homes, unit membership, and passport numbers.
It would be rather difficult to compete with the cyber group and it might be time for Putin to make a choice to deal with them. While he has not seen them as a first-class threat, it would only be a matter of time before they become one.
