Trailer for Dungeons and Dragons Movie Officially Released

Published

on

The first teaser for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves from next year debuted at Comi-Con International: San Diego 2022. Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Regé-Jean Page play a group of robbers in the fantasy adventure, which won’t be released on screens until next year, but the trailer provided the first look at them in action.

Setting the Story Up

The teaser for Dungeons & Dragons, which is set to Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love, establishes a lighthearted tone that was severely lacking from the game’s previous big-screen excursion back in 2000. It also provides a look of Hugh Grant’s villain, Forge Fletcher.

Something to Expect

Two-thirds of the script was written by the writing team of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who also directed the movie and wrote the screenplays for Horrible Bosses, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Game Night.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Releases Its First Trailer

Published

on

The last time we saw Star-Lord and his rag tag bunch of extraterrestrial friends in a stand-alone movie was five years ago. The public has now been given a trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

A Bit of a Surprise

Although they’ve been in multiple Avengers movies, Chris Pratt’s character hasn’t had a solo adventure in a very long time. However, they’re back and they look better than ever. The third installment of the fantastic Marvel franchise has not yet given a concrete on what’s to come, but hopefully the trailer would give us an idea on what’s going on.

Keeping the Standard

We appear to be in for a picture that jumps between planets and is full of action, drama, and astonishing emotion. In one scene, Rocket is seen as a young racoon, and there may also be the beginnings of a possible love affair between Rocket and an otter. As the Guardians move through space, the visuals are stunning, nothing less of what we’ve been expecting from the franchise.

The Internet Goes Wild After Will Smith’s Latest Movie Gets Boycotted by Critics

Published

on

Due to the ongoing repercussions from Will Smith’s slap on Chris Rock at the Academy Awards earlier in the year, fans have had a mixed reaction to the historical action movie Emancipation, which was directed by Antoine Fuqua and stars Smith.

The Plot of the Movie

Gordon, also known as “Whipped Peter,” was a Black American slave who managed to escape the Louisiana plantation where he was kept captive in the book Emancipation. In order to avoid hunters and bloodhounds, he traveled more than 60 kilometers in ten days before arriving at a post of Union soldiers in the early 1863.

The Consequences

Even though Smith has said he understands if people don’t want to watch Emancipation, a sizable portion of folks who would not view this movie because of its relationship with Smith are puzzling fans of the actor.

Emancipation debuts in American theaters on December 2 and becomes available on Apple TV on December 9. Hopefully people would still support the film, and see the film for what it can truly be.

Fans Already have the Ideal Substitute for Liam Hemsworth in The Witcher

Published

The mess that was The Witcher on Netflix just won’t go away. If you didn’t hear, Henry Cavill has left the series, and I truly hope I’m not the one to tell you.

The Witcher Debate Just Won’t Go Away

In the next third season, Cavill will play Geralt of Rivea, but this will be his last appearance. The position will then be filled by Liam Hemsworth in season four.

Cavill didn’t really give a reason for leaving, but it’s quite obvious now. Cavill, who has fought for the veracity of Andrzej Sapkowski’s original novels, is quite disappointed that The Witcher is departing from them.

Some producers reportedly even made fun of the novels. In light of this, viewers started a petition requesting that Netflix fire the show’s writers and rehire Cavill. Liam Hemsworth is not at fault for any of this mess, but the actor hasn’t exactly received a warm welcome to the franchise.

We Got This Covered reports that 3D artist Wonki Cho has won the hearts of fans with a collection of concept work that casts actor Mads Mikkelsen in the part.

As Geralt, I must confess that Mikkelsen does look pretty cool, and let’s face it—everything that man touches turns to gold. Similar views were expressed by fans on Twitter. No offense to Liam Hemsworth for playing The Witcher, but Mads Mikkelsen is a perfectly capable actor over here, according to Grunchpop.

Fans aren’t the only ones affected by Cavill’s departure; Revnardent added, “Petition for Mads Mikkelsen to be the next Witcher.” We share Doug Cockle’s sentiments, who play Geralt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and expressed his sadness at Cavill’s departure.
