The first teaser for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves from next year debuted at Comi-Con International: San Diego 2022. Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Regé-Jean Page play a group of robbers in the fantasy adventure, which won’t be released on screens until next year, but the trailer provided the first look at them in action.
Setting the Story Up
The teaser for Dungeons & Dragons, which is set to Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love, establishes a lighthearted tone that was severely lacking from the game’s previous big-screen excursion back in 2000. It also provides a look of Hugh Grant’s villain, Forge Fletcher.
Something to Expect
Two-thirds of the script was written by the writing team of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who also directed the movie and wrote the screenplays for Horrible Bosses, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Game Night.
