John Wick is…This will be worth it

John Wick is…

The 2014 American neo-noir action thriller movie John Wick was written by Derek Kolstad and directed by Chad Stahelski (in his feature-directing debut). Along with Willem Dafoe and Dean Winters, it also stars Keanu Reeves, Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, and Ian McShane.

It is the opening chapter of the John Wick movie series. The plot centers on former hitman John Wick and his quest to find the perpetrators of a house invasion, the theft of his vintage automobile, and the murder of his dog, a final present from his recently departed wife.

The movie was co-directed by Stahelski and David Leitch, yet only Stahelski received credit. The script was finished by Kolstad in 2012, and he continued to work on it for Thunder Road Pictures. On The Matrix trilogy, Stahelski and Leitch served as Reeves’ stunt doubles.

This will be worth it

According to Collider, the much awaited neo-noir action movie will last two hours, 46 minutes, including credits.

The fourth episode will be the longest, director Chad Stahelski told the publication back in November.

The lengths of the two sequels were 122 minutes and 131 minutes, respectively, whereas the original installment was 101 minutes long.

Stahelski continued, saying that even though he comprehends the aggravation associated with watching long movies, it would be well worth it.

Collider quoted Stahelski as saying, “We wrote a lengthier movie. We created a larger film. Our script was lengthier. Compared to the last one, we wrote at least a third more scenes.

“We were hoping for more. We had always anticipated more from it.

And I believe the test, or at least what we are measuring ourselves by, is whether or not it was worthwhile given how we carried out our goals.

Lionsgate said that “Wick Week,” in which the company releases new exclusives every day, has officially begun after the Super Bowl by releasing the most recent teaser.

“Is it over?

Not really, Lionsgate wrote in a tweet. Wick Week is begun.

After the 2019 release of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next installment for quite some time.

Producers teased: “With the price on his head continually growing, famed hit man John Wick takes his war against the High Table worldwide as he hunts out the most prominent figures in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin.” However, the specifics of the narrative have remained a secret.

This sounds awesome, offfft.

The news that Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, and Keanu Reeves will all be reprising their roles as Winston and Charon will thrill fans.

Fans of “John Wick” may not have seen the last of Halle Berry’s ex-assassin Sofia, but they can be sure they won’t be seeing her again on May 24, 2023, when “John Wick: Chapter 4” hits cinemas. Berry said last week in an interview with IGN that she won’t be in the upcoming “John Wick” film to be shown in theathers.

A significant “car-fu” sequence and “master level” combat will be featured in the film’s “big show.”

In addition to the original cast, Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgrd, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Clancy Brown, Natalia Tena, Marko Zaror, and Ian McShane, the film also stars Keanu Reeves as the title character.

The fourth chapter of John Wick will be released on March 23.
