The Predator franchise returns with a fresh new movie, Prey, from the director of 10 Cloverfield Lane, and 20th Century Studios will release the film exclusively on Hulu on August 5. While you wait, there’s the official trailer for Prey, a badass first look at the forthcoming Predator film that promises to be unlike any other hunting experience.

In this first glimpse, we meet Amber Midthunder’s main character, a Comanche warrior trying to prove herself as a hunter. Naru has her prize snatched right out from under her by an invisible beast, which she quickly finds is the galaxy’s finest hunter, while on a search for a big bear.

The Reputation

Dan Trachtenberg is directing the return of the Predator franchise, which is positioned as a prequel to the original and will chronicle the story of the Predator’s initial voyage to our world. Amber Midthunder plays a Comanche lady who defies gender stereotypes and traditions in order to become a warrior.
