According to Rockstar Games’ parent company Take-Two Interactive, players are not done with the Red Dead Redemption universe just yet. With the lesser-known Red Dead Revolver, the critically acclaimed western franchise began in 2004.
Humble Beginnings
Before Red Dead Redemption 2 surprised everyone with its wonderfully realistic open world and devastating plot, the series was launched to new heights with 2010’s Red Dead Redemption.
Coming Soon (?)
With the eight-year gap between the previous two games, it’s really uncertain when Red Dead Redemption 3 will be released, or how Rockstar Games will even begin to top Red Dead Redemption 2. Nonetheless, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has guaranteed supporters that a new installment would be released at one point.
While it’s encouraging to hear that Red Dead Redemption will continue, Zelnick highlighted that it will be a long time before the next installment. That, he believes, is one of the things that distinguishes Rockstar’s single-player games.
