We do know that it kind of feels like a bit of a repeat, but not to worry! The second season of Squid Game has been effectively confirmed a couple of times already, first by Hwang in November of last year, and then by Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s co-CEO and chief content officer, earlier this year.

“Absolutely it’s happening,” Ted Sarandos stated. “The Squid Game universe has just begun.” While this could be more of teasing, it would mean that more is in the works and we are barely scratching the surface when it comes to Squid Game!
