The Range

For a cameo appearance, Myers reprises his role as Shrek, and while this version of the character appears to be more of a costume than the real deal, his voice is unmistakable.

To Match It

As if hearing Shrek’s voice wasn’t enough, his arrival is accompanied by the sound of The Monkees’ ‘I’m A Believer,’ one of the Shrek franchise’s most renowned songs.

The Pentaverate has received mixed reviews, with a Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer score of 25% and a 66 percent audience score, but the cameo from the green monster clearly performed its goal in satisfying viewers all around.
