Finally, Lady Gaga has made it official that she will appear in the upcoming Joker sequel as Joaquin Phoenix’s co-star. A day following Warner. Joker: Folie à Deux will debut on October 4, 2024, or precisely five years after the previous movie’s premiere, according to a Warner Bros. announcement.

A Huge Tease

The pop staple “Cheek to Cheek,” which serves as the inspiration for Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett’s debut duet album, is performed by a huge band as the teaser’s musical accompaniment.

Basing from There

The film’s subtitle, Folie à Deux, is a French term for an identical mental disorder that affects two different people; however, Gaga remained mum about the role she will play in the upcoming sequel. It is rumored — but not confirmed — that she will play the Joker universe’s Harley Quinn, a prison psychiatrist who joins the Joker in his chaotic crime sprees after treating him.
