While the animated series was first announced in 2020 and we have yet to see a real teaser or trailer, a cute poster has just been released, along with the show’s major debut date.
How It Is
The series will cover “Baby Groot’s glorious days growing up, and getting into mischief among the stars,” according to a Marvel press release. It won’t be a full Disney+ series in the usual sense; instead, it’ll be a collection of shorts.
The Iconic Voice
Groot, who is currently the sole confirmed character in the series, will be reprised by Vin Diesel, so there’s a potential it’ll be a whole solo act – we’ll just have to wait and see. James Gunn, the director of Guardians of the Galaxy, is one of the executive producers, according to ComicBook.
