Jason Reitman, the writer/director of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, has confirmed a sequel, codenamed Firehouse. Ecto-1 is believed to be returning to the iconic Firehouse from Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II in the next sequel.
Who to Expect

In terms of returning cast members, McKenna Grace and Finn Wolfhard will certainly reprise their roles as Egon Spengler’s grandchildren, Trevor and Grace. Carrie Coon will also return as Egon’s daughter.
A Bit of a Conflict

It’s unclear whether Paul Rudd will reprise his role as Callie’s love interest, Gary Grooberson, since he’s also quite involved in the next MCU Phase 4 and even more.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife was a tremendous hit with both critics and audiences. Let’s just hope the coming movies are as good as they come to build more of a fanbase for the younger generation and for the older ones to also enjoy.
