Several of Christian Bale’s films were on the verge of being directed by Leonardo DiCaprio. In Hollywood, “any role that anybody gets, is only because (Dicaprio) has already passed on it,” the 48-year-old Amsterdam actor told GQ.

Like Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio has starred in a few excellent movies. DiCaprio’s biggest hits include Inception, The Departed, The Wolf of Wall Street, and The Revenant, but Bale said he doesn’t take anything personal in his line of work.

His Thoughts

He explains, “Do you know how grateful I am to get any damn thing? I mean, I can’t do what he does. I wouldn’t want the exposure that he has either. And he does it magnificently. But I would suspect that almost everybody of similar age to him in Hollywood owes their careers to him passing on whatever project it is.” .

One of Hollywood’s most well-known actors, Christian Bale has starred in a number of box office hits. The Dark Knight trilogy, The Fighter and American Hustle are just a few of the films that the 48-year-old actor considers to be successes in his career, and he attributes his success to Leonardo DiCaprio, in his opinion.
