While Marvel’s announcement of Phases 5 and 6 of its never-ending greatness was the main topic of conversation at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, fans also got to see some goodies from Warner Bros. and DC Films.
Something Different
Shazam’s youth is undoubtedly what sets him distinct from the rest of other superheroes. He occasionally resembles Zachary Levi, but more often resembles Asher Angel as Shazam’s teenage alter ego, Billy Batson.
Connecting the Dots
Pictures from Zack Snyder’s 2017 “Justice League” movie, starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and even Ezra Miller as The Flash, are shown in the trailer. Given the intense criticism that surrounds the entire Snyder component of the DCEU, WB has done a pretty good job of separating the DC franchise from those films.
