The Japan Coast Guard is said to have discovered the body of renowned manga artist Kazuki Takahashi (real name Kazuo Takahashi) off the coast of Nago city in Okinawa. He had reached age 60 before the incident.
The Causes
The Coast Guard discovered Takahashi’s body in the morning of Wednesday, July 6, according to NHK (via Anime News Network). He was apparently sporting snorkeling gear, which raises the possibility of a diving mishap. The Coast Guard and police are actively collaborating to determine exactly what caused his death.
