The 42-year-old Aquaman actress revealed in an interview that Charlize Theron will reprise her role as the Cipher, the main villain from The Fate of the Furious.
A Star Studded Cast
There has been a lot of reports claiming that Theron would return to the Fast and Furious franchise alongside Sung Kang as Han, a fan favorite. The news came in the wake of Brie Larson’s announcement that she will be joining Fast X.
The Returning Role
Theron played Cipher in The Fate of the Furious, a criminal mastermind and cyberterrorist who kidnaps Dom’s son and holds him and Elena captive to force Dom to work for them.
Fans of the Fast and Furious franchise will be overjoyed to see her return. Unfortunately, it appears that Dwayne Johnson will not be reciprocating the courtesy, as he has refused to return for Fast X, implying that Fast and Furious 11 will be the final installment in the long-running franchise.
