The Simpsons will soon disclose how they make future predictions in the episode we’ve all been waiting for. The show’s creator and producer, Matt Selman, just revealed to Deadline that all will be revealed in the forthcoming season 34 episode.

Selman stated that maintaining the show’s freshness over such a long period of time has been the production team’s greatest creative challenge. “That’s our greatest creative challenge, to make sure that every episode is unique and distinct and has something fresh to say. Luckily the world keeps delivering things that need reflecting on in the Springfield mirror.
Fans and many people online and around the world have long speculated if the producers or writers of the Simpsons are time travelers or something similar, but now, we’re glad we get to find out just how they’re doing it!
