According to GamesRadar, Johnson discussed the studio’s plans to grow the DCEU by adding new characters and spinoffs in the most recent issue of Total Film magazine. Dwayne Johnson, the star of Black Adam, has voiced anticipation for a future crossover between the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe.
To Start Things Off
Black Adam is included under the “huge umbrella of the DC universe,” which may potentially open the door for crossovers with other characters from that shared universe as well as from other ones, possibly even from the Marvel universe.

He smiled and replied, “I am optimistic. Just my nature is optimistic. And especially when it comes to creative. Especially when it comes to movies. And especially when it comes to the pantheon of DC superheroes and supervillains. Across the street, we have the pantheon of superheroes and supervillains of Marvel. To me, they can not only exist, but they should, in my mind, cross paths one day.”
DC and Marvel have collaborated on a few occasions for different comic books, but they have yet to clash on the big screen. Moreover, DC is currently going through a period of uncertainty following the Warner Bros. Discovery merger. A wave of upheaval for the studio began with the high-profile cancellation of Batgirl, which resulted in a number of other cancellations and significant adjustments with planned films and television shows.
