In addition, “Squid Game” took home prizes for excellent stunt performance, outstanding guest actress in a drama series, outstanding special visual effects in a single episode, and outstanding production design for a narrative current program (one hour or more).

This year, a second season received formal approval. Along with introducing Young-hee’s-partner, the enormous killer doll used in the competition’s opening match, Hwang also announced that season two would see the return of season one nemesis The Front Man and Gi-hun.
