To the amazement of many fans, The First Slam Dunk disclosed that it has recast its lead actors with the movie’s premiere just one month away. An official trailer for the movie has also been released along with the introduction of the new actors.

The latest live stream that featured the movie’s primary cast also featured the unveiling of the new cast announcement and trailer. The official Twitter account for the movie also posted information. Many anime fans were surprised when new voice actors were added to the film’s cast after the initial TV anime cast was announced.
Knowing a Bit More
The movie has 3DCG animation and was written and directed by Inoue. One of the most well-known manga series of the 1990s was Slam Dunk, thanks in part to the Toei Animation TV anime adaptation. This next film will once again be produced by Toei, but it now features 3DCG animation.
