A Huge Role
Comic book enthusiasts are excited to see Mephisto in the MCU because they originally encountered the character in 1968’s Silver Surfer #3. Mephisto is a supernatural foe who initially doesn’t seem like the perfect match for Ironheart. Mephisto typically aligns with Ghost Rider, Scarlet Witch, and Doctor Strange.

For Mephisto, Ironheart can be that starting point. The antagonist might also show up in the Agatha: Coven of Chaos spin-off from WandaVision. Here’s hoping that Marvel could come out with some pretty huge and entertaining surprises.
