The Super Mario Bros. Movie’s first teaser will be revealed at a Nintendo Direct presentation, according to Nintendo, which also presented a poster with a ton of intricate elements. It’s unclear whether the Direct will just include the trailer or provide more details. Nintendo has made it plain that it will not include any gaming news.
Something Familiar
As you can see from the announcement tweet, we also received a jam-packed new poster for the film that teases some of the familiar locations we might see in the upcoming Illumination film while also showcasing some of its animation style.
A Huge Announcement
Super Mario: The Movie is being made by Nintendo and Illumination, as was first announced back in 2018. Shigeru Miyamoto, the man responsible for the character Mario, brought up the movie once more when he revealed the cast of the movie in the September 2021 Nintendo Direct.
