For a while now, there have been rumors about Injustice 3. Injustice 3: Gods Will Fall appeared to be revealed by an Nvidia GeForce Now database leak last year, yet here we are a year later with no evidence to support the supposed sequel.

More Than a Tease

In an answer to a question from a fan during a recent AMA, Boon stated that Injustice 3 or Mortal Kombat 12 would be NetherRealm’s next release, stating the obvious.

Expecting More

It’s not particularly unexpected news, but after last year’s uninspiring “leak,” it’s reassuring to know that Injustice 3 is still being considered as a possibility. Boon gave no other details; therefore, I believe it is safe to assume that a revelation is still some time off.

The Gamer noted that there were some further intriguing responses in the AMA. Why are the characters from the 3D period so few in the most current games, wondered one fan. The revealing clothes of some female characters are “not likely” to reappear, Boon stated, adding, “That is something we will soon fix.” Although it’s a meager update, it’s something.
