The streaming service Netflix has announced that a second season of one of its most popular ever shows will begin. With certain producer-added features, the series is based on the Matthew Quirk novel of the same name.

The continuance of the series has also been assured by Katherine Pope, President of Sony Pictures Television.
“We are thrilled to see The Night Agent become an instant hit worldwide and can’t wait to continue telling this story with our remarkable cast, creative director Shawn Ryan, and our wonderful partners at Netflix,” she said.
The second season of “The Night Agent” has not yet started filming. Production has most certainly been delayed by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, however script work may have already started before the strike.
How many episodes can we expect?
The Night Agent’s second season will have ten brand-new episodes, much like the first one.
The duration of each episode has not yet been determined, although it is anticipated that they will last 45 to 55 minutes on average, as was the case for the first season.
