According to reports, Dua Lipa, a future Nostalgia artist and global pop phenomenon, is negotiating to make her Zatanna Zatara debut in the DC Extended Universe. On July 16, a fan account for the upcoming Zatanna movie purportedly confirmed that Dua Lipa is in fact talking about the part with Warner Bros.

In March 2021, word of a Zatanna DCEU adaptation was confirmed, with Academy Award–winning actress and filmmaker Emerald Fennell named as the movie’s writer. The first time Zatanna debuted was in Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson’s Hawkman #4 from 1964.
In the Works
Daniel RPK, a renowned movie leaker, later corroborated the rumor. There haven’t been many developments since it was revealed that Emerald Fennell will pen the Zatanna film. We were only informed of the fact that it was still in development.
The movie appears to be progressing if this report turns out to be genuine, albeit there is no set release date at this time.
