The celebrity declared in 2018 that she will stop acting in order to devote more time to her home and family. And now, Cameron Diaz is coming out of retirement to star with Jamie Foxx in a brand-new movie, appropriately titled Back in Action.

Her retirement was a disappointment to her admirers, so they will undoubtedly be happy to hear that she will return for the upcoming Netflix film. Variety said that the movie is an action-comedy that reunites Diaz and Foxx, who had previously collaborated.

Making It Official

Using a recording of a chat between himself, his co-star, and Tom Brady, the NFL player who famously announced his retirement from the American football league earlier this year only to later reverse his mind, Foxx himself revealed the news on Twitter.
