It’s officially Hogwarts Legacy release day for those using the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, which feels funny to say given how many people have already been playing it.
Finally, a worthwhile Harry Potter game
Action role-playing game Hogwarts Legacy was created in 2023 by Avalanche Software and released by Warner Bros. under the Portkey Games banner.
The game, which is based on the Harry Potter books and is set in the Wizarding World, was launched in 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. Later in 2023, it will be made available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The player assumes control of a student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 1899 who learns to use various magical powers and artifacts with the help of other students and teachers. This game takes place before the events of the novels.
Avalanche’s first publication since being acquired by Warner Bros. in 2017 is Hogwarts Legacy. Construction commenced in 2018.
The game, which was first scheduled to release in 2020 but was later delayed to 2022, was subject to delays. Pre-release gameplay footage was posted online in 2018 before to its launch.
Critics gave Hogwarts Legacy relatively positive reviews, praising the fighting, environment design, and characters while criticizing its side quests and technical issues.

So what’s the problem?
