Daniel Kaluuya has been announced as a voice cast member for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, following his noteworthy performance in Jordan Peele’s Nope. The upcoming animated movie, a follow-up to 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, is scheduled to debut in June 2023.

About the Role
Hobart “Hobie” Brown, a homeless teenager who is bitten by a spider as a result of President Norman Osborn’s toxic waste disposal, will be voiced by Kaluuya as Spider-Punk. With his newly acquired abilities, Spider-Punk fights the wicked Osborn and his V.E.N.O.M. forces while giving voice to the city’s disenfranchised.
He joins actors Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld in the cast. In 2024, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, the third film in the trilogy, will be released. On June 2, 2023, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be released.
