A Bit of Uncertainty

A representative for Meta confirmed to BuzzFeed News that he had been banned from Facebook and Instagram, but they would not say whether the ban was permanent or what particular rules he had broken.

No More

Matt Bernstein, a queer content creator, labeled Tate’s online presence as “hazardous” in a popular Instagram post last week. Bernstein cited Tate’s violent, anti-gay, and misogynistic remarks made throughout his multiple podcast appearances.

Tate’s multiple accounts, which he utilized between 2017 and 2022, were all permanently deleted by Twitter, including one that it claimed to have confirmed “in error” after a previous ban that he had managed to get around by opening other accounts. Up until January of this year, his most current Twitter account was still operational. Companies have tried to reduce his audience, but there are still a lot of fan pages on Instagram that repeat his posts.
