Movie Star Ray Liotta Passes Away at Age 67

The “Goodfellas” star died peacefully in his sleep while filming “Dangerous Waters” in the Dominican Republic. Fans, friends, and family are all devastated while further reports are yet to come on what would be next with his current movie and family.

Playing the Part Well

The Union, New Jersey native later starred alongside Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci in Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas,” in which he played Henry Hill. Despite his fondness for wise guy parts, Liotta revealed that he is not a tough guy.

Iconic Roles

He had a five-decade film career. In addition to his iconic performance in Goodfellas, Liotta has also had notable roles in Field of Dreams and Cop Land.

He had experienced a rise in popularity in recent years, acting in productions such as The Many Saints of Newark, a Sopranos prequel in which he played two characters. His death is a tragedy and he will be deeply missed, but would also be remembered for his many roles in both movies and in some games as well.
