Eminem Gets Inducted Into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has inducted Eminem. Along with Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, and Duran Duran, the rapper is one of the most recent recipients of the award.

Of The Highest Caliber

Artists must have released their first record 25 years before being inducted, which means Eminem was inducted in his first year of eligibility. The 49-year-old is a 15-time Grammy winner and one of the world’s best-selling musicians.

And of The Greatest Talent

Greg Harris, president and CEO of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, described the musicians as “a diverse group of extraordinarily brilliant individuals and bands, who’ve had a huge impact on rock & roll, the music that connects us all” in a recent announcement.

When the fan poll for the class of 2022 concluded earlier this month, Eminem came in second with 685,000 votes, while Duran Duran, an English new wave band, came in first with 934,880 votes.
