Last month, Twitter’s board of directors approved his offer to buy the firm for $44 billion. Elon Musk has stated that his bid to purchase Twitter is “temporarily on hold.”
Quite the Delay
The purchase is delayed “pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users,” according to Musk, who was Twitter’s largest shareholder when he launched his offer to buy the company.
Pressing Matters
In recent weeks, Musk’s proposed acquisition of Twitter has roiled the firm. Last month, at a meeting with her employees, Twitter’s senior lawyer sobbed as she raised fears about how the company would evolve under Musk’s leadership.
We can be quite unsure what the future holds for Elon Musk and the newly acquired Twitter, but with that, we do hope the best to come. Aside from that, it could be more than possible that Elon would stay true to his aim regarding the platform, but as of now, waiting is all we can do.
