Now, it appears that DC and Zaslav have at last discovered their own Kevin Feige. According to The Hollywood Reporter, DC producer Dan Lin is being considered as the organization’s next leading director.

Huge Changes

If a contract is reached—which is still under discussion—Lin will be answering directly to Zaslav. This implies that fewer opinion leaders would be present while decisions were made. The producer will also replace Walter Hamada, who will leave the role of producer.

A Great Option

In recent months, one of Hollywood’s most sought-after positions has been the head of DC. Amy Pascal and Greg Berlanti were allegedly among the well-known names who were vying for the position. However, if Lin is going to be the next head at DC, the producer would be a good candidate.

Aside from the fact that Lin began his career as a Junior Executive working with current WB Advisor Alan Horn, his impressive resume speaks for itself. In addition to working on contemporary masterpieces like The Departed and The Two Popes, Lin has a ton of expertise with well-known franchises.
