According to reports, Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss has been offered the opportunity to purchase the club. Another potential buyer has appeared on the scene, with MMA star Conor McGregor tweeting that he ‘wishes to explore’ purchasing the club.

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the threat of Abramovich facing penalties looms, including the freezing of his assets, one of which is Chelsea. As a result, he is attempting to sell the asset in order to secure both his own riches and the club’s future.
