WWE Hall-of-Famer Edge Casted to Play a God of War

According to Variety, Edge, whose actual name is Adam Copeland, has been announced together with Suzanne Cryer and Jessica Parker Kennedy. Copeland will play the series’ take on the Greek god Ares, a seductive fiend who likes to create havoc around him, in a recurring role.

Adding More to His Resume

Copeland is best known for playing Edge, a WWE Hall of Famer who made his ring comeback in January 2020 following a nine-year absence due to health problems. He is a skilled actor who has acted in movies like “Interrogation” and “Money Plane,” as well as television shows like “The Flash,” “Haven,” and “Vikings.”

Quite the Story

The popular fantasy book series by Rick Riordan, which served as the basis for the previous two movies covering the first two books in the five-book series, is the source material for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. In contrast to the movies, Riordan has been actively involved in the production of the series as both an executive producer and a co-writer of the first episode.
