Assassin’s Creed: Project Red will release after 2023 and is set in feudal Japan. The renowned Quebec-based team behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is working on this open-world role-playing game, which will give fans the chance to realize their powerful shinobi fantasies.

In Line

Assassin’s Creed: Project Hexe will follow sometime after that. The Valhalla team at Ubisoft Montreal is working on what appears to be a mystery, witchcraft-inspired entry, though details are exceedingly scarce.

Big Things Planned

Ubisoft Quebec CEO Marc-Alexis Coté referred to Codename Red as the “next premium flagship title and the future of our open-world RPG titles on Assassin’s Creed.” Jonathan Dumont, who previously held this position on Odyssey, will serve as its creative director.
