The renowned Ninja Warrior obstacle course might be included in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028. According to Deadline, Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) stated that they are testing whether the track would be appropriate for the Modern Pentathlon’s fifth discipline at the Games with a number of partners.
An Interesting Proposal
The idea is being worked on by TBHS, World Obstacle, and the Federation Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO), as well as the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM).
A Bit of a Trial
The ninja competition is one of the two obstacle sports being tested for inclusion in 2028. After the UIPM 2022 Pentathlon World Cup Final, the test competition is now being held in Ankara, Turkey.
In a statement, UIPM President Klaus Schormann said: “UIPM has undertaken a comprehensive and transparent process to transform Modern Pentathlon into one of the most popular, accessible and exciting sports on the Olympic program.”
