The Creator has Already Teased Hogwarts Legacy 2

So, wasn’t this very much a foregone conclusion? After a spectacular debut, Warner Bros. A Hogwarts Legacy sequel (or sequels, plural) has very certainly been announced by Games.

Get your wands on

An immersive, open-world action role-playing game called Hogwarts Legacy is set in the Harry Potter books’ original setting. Experience Hogwarts in the 1800s for the first time.

A student named you has the answer to a long-buried mystery that could split the wizarding community in two. You can now direct the action and be the protagonist of your own wizarding-world adventure. What you leave behind will be your legacy.

The magical universe is waiting for you. Enjoy unrestricted access to Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, the Forbidden Forest, and the surrounding Overland region.

It has been impossible to ignore the Wizarding World RPG‘s excitement. Before the game entered early access, it had more than 300,000 users alone on Steam, and that number hasn’t decreased since.

The “definitive Harry Potter experience” has been praised by players, and many are already pleading with the developers to add a New Game Plus feature so they can continue their Hogwarts journey.

Along the way, you can learn spells, make potions, cultivate plants, and take care of magical animals. To become the witch or wizard you want to be, join your house, build relationships, and develop your skills.

When you take on a terrifying enemy that imperils the wizarding realm, you’ll have to fight against trolls, Dark Wizards, goblins, and more.

Taking place in places like Hogwarts castle, Hogsmeade, and the Scottish Highlands, Hogwarts Legacy is set in the late 1800s. The protagonist of the game is a fifth-year student who is followed as they begin their studies at Hogwarts.

The Ministry of Magic offers a wizard field guide because the main character enrolls in the school later than other pupils.

Well this isn’t surprising

When you take on a terrifying enemy that imperils the wizarding realm, you’ll have to fight against trolls, Dark Wizards, goblins, and more.

Warner Bros. spoke with Variety. David Haddad, president of the games, provided player statistics as well as information on the game’s current level of popularity.

The player engagement is fantastic, according to Haddad. Players have spent 267 million hours playing the game as of Tuesday (February 21), growing 393 million magical plants, making 242 million potions, and taking down 1.25 billion Dark Wizards (thanks, Variety).

The fact that Warner Bros. views Hogwarts Legacy as a long-term franchise, however, clearly suggests that there may be more than one sequel in the future.

While there’s no doubt that many will be excited about this, the decision to make any sequels will almost likely be controversial. Hogwarts Legacy has been shunned by many due of its connection to J.K. Rowling, who has come under fire for her offensive remarks against the trans community.

She wasn’t engaged in its creation, but since she founded the Wizarding World franchise, she will still make money from its sales (and obviously, the same will apply for any future games).
