Reports Claim that Rockstar Chose to Focus on GTA VI and Dropped Remasters of GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption

As reported by Kotaku and a well-known leaker. Grand Theft Auto 4 and Red Dead Redemption remakes were “on the table a few years ago, but Rockstar elected not to move forward with the projects in mind.”

More Waiting

Kotaku claims that these ideas weren’t entirely abandoned and might resume development after GTA 6 is released. Hopefully, Rockstar could do right by their fans and push through with making better games or providing better remakes in the near future.

GTA 6, which was confirmed to be in development early this year, is now the studio’s primary focus. Despite the announcement, there won’t be any more updates on the game for a long.
