Latest and “Multiple” Digimon Games are Being Produced

Digimon is making a major comeback with a number of new games. The developers of Digimon, Kazumasa Habu and Takahiro Yokota, have confirmed via Twitter that “several” Digimon games are now in development.

Players in Digimon World: Next Order are tasked with preventing complete anarchy in the Digital World after the Machinedramon has taken control. On February 22, 2023, Digimon World: Next Order will be live on the Nintendo Switch and the PC through Steam.

Keeping Up

Actually a re-release, Digimon World: Next Order was first made available in 2016 on the PlayStation Vita. With some upgrades, it is now making its way to Nintendo Switch and Steam. Now with that, we’re hoping that Digimon could keep up with the times and bring a titular role to modern games.
