According to Keanu Reeves, he would be interested in portraying a “older” Batman. The actor made the remarks while touring the media for DC League of Super-Pets, a new animated feature in which he voices the Caped Crusader.

Chasing the Dream

“It’s always been a… it’s been a dream,” the Matrix actor said to Extra. “Pattinson’s got Batman right now, and he’s doing awesome. Maybe down the road. Maybe when they need an older Batman.” Reeves also talked about how happy he was to have been able to play Batman in DC League of Super-Pets.

And Some Downs

While the possibility of seeing Reeves in the iconic outfit in the future will no doubt excite fans, the news that the actor has begun working with NFTs last month left many less than impressed. Given that Reeves had previously positioned himself as someone with minimal interest in NFTs, many were shocked to learn of his involvement.

While many fans were criticizing him on the whole NFT thing, it can be sure that a lot of fans still have his back and are rooting for him regardless. Needless to say, his talent has brought him a long way and it would be no surprise if he lands his dream role.
