Ben Rottenborn, the lawyer for Heard, implied throughout a cross-examination that Depp’s decision to leave the franchise was his own and not Disney’s, and he doesn’t sound incorrect. If it’s true that “nothing on this earth” could persuade Depp to join the franchise again, Rottenborn questioned.

Rottenborn had stated that “The fact is, Mr. Depp, If Disney came to you with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a Pirates of the Caribbean film, correct?” Depp merely said, “That is true Mr. Rottenborn,” in response.
Pirates of the Caribbean 6 has a script, according to the franchise’s most recent director Joachim Rnning, and the previous installment Dead Men Tell No Tales hinted the villain Davy Jones’ return in a post-credits scene, hinting at what we could expect from a sixth picture.
