Google Maps Aid Ukraine by Disabling Live Traffic Updates to Keep People Safe

Karl Telintelo

In an effort to protect people as Russian military continued to invade, Google has temporarily suspended its live traffic updates in Ukraine. This can massively help out citizens and keep them safe especially at this time.

A New Hero

Google chose to block these services globally after discussing with sources including regional authorities to prevent people from accessing information about Ukraine for the safety of local communities.

Combined Efforts

In a lot of ways, people have been trying to help out Ukraine whenever they can. It’s no surprise that Google takes this move, and that could save a lot of lives and turn things for the better.

It goes to show that it’s not just every man for himself. People all around are willing to put in an effort and make the invasions come to an end and spare the people while in the process of doing so.
