After Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition proposal was accepted, Bill Gates issued a warning to Twitter. Everyone is wondering what the tech billionaire will do with Facebook, and he’s already hinted that he wants to broaden the company’s freedom of expression concept. Musk, on the other hand, has been cautioned by Microsoft’s co-founder.

The Possibility

“He actually could make it worse,” Gates remarked at an event. While that is a harsh assessment of Musk’s ability, Gates acknowledged that the world’s richest man has proven to be formidable in his past commercial undertakings.

Pushing Through

It’s unclear how Musk plans to modify the social media platform to give people more control over their free expression. He is, nevertheless, dedicated to make Twitter the “town square” of public discourse.

Allowing people to say whatever they want might be dangerous, according to Gates. Gates asked Tesla CEO Elon Musk to reconsider his ambitions for Twitter to focus on freedom of speech. The outcome would only be seen after some time, but let’s all hope Elon makes a huge and positive change when it comes to reaching his goal for the platform.
