And it’s got a brand new look.

Refreshing New Songs

The annual instalment of the Just Dance series has just been unveiled, and it looks really stunning.

Just Dance 2023, unveiled at Ubisoft Forward 2022, is slated to launch this Christmas season for the Xbox Series X and S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It will have a completely new “dance on demand” platform, new online multiplayer capabilities, and an updated user interface.

Like previous Just Dance games, this one will also get a number of free recurring content updates in the form of seasonal updates. All of these updates will be accessible through the game’s new Netflix-inspired user interface, which also allows players to browse new music, see what’s popular and recommended, and do other things.

Up to two players per console can join the game’s multiplayer feature, which allows up to six players to dance together from all over the world.

Since 2009, Just Dance has been a hugely successful and long-running Ubisoft franchise. It is released annually on almost all platforms, but it has a particularly long and surprising history on the Wii and Wii U, where it continued to release even after no other games were planned for the consoles (though it has since stopped on both).

Large on-stage dancing performances have typically accompanied the announcement of Just Dance at Ubisoft’s E3 news conference, however, this tradition has decreased throughout the COVID-19 epidemic.

Can’t wait? Same.
